POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Customer Quality Engineer (CQE), you will be the primary regional contact for customers, responsible for providing technical guidance and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues in collaboration with the aircraft OEM’s customer support network. This position requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Technical Liaison: Act as the primary technical liaison between the aircraft OEM and customers, maintaining clear communication about aircraft support status during events. Escalate sensitive customer issues to OEM management and work to facilitate mutually beneficial resolutions.

· Incident Management: Provide on-ground support for Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and non-AOG incidents. Coordinate with technical operations, field support teams, and vendors to ensure effective incident resolution.

· Customer Support: Offer guidance and technical expertise to customers on complex technical tasks, including installation, service, repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance of aerospace equipment.

· Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather technical data and communicate relevant information to support event troubleshooting and resolution. Prepare and submit detailed reports on significant incidents, accidents, and operational events.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Customer Operational team) to ensure a smooth transition of EIS (Entry Into Service) deliveries. Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to support technical needs.

· Customer Relations: Maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication, face-to-face interactions, and regular updates on technical issues and resolutions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor's degree in aviation maintenance, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

· A minimum of 5 years of aerospace manufacturing or maintenance experience in quality, engineering, or customer project teams.

· At least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with exposure to project management, production, or quality assurance.

· An FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is an advantage.

· Experience with quality tools such as 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa diagrams, or 5S is preferred.

· Strong intercultural experience or experience with international project teams.

· Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and the local language.

· High sense of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
