RCRA Specialist IV

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a RCRA Specialist IV for our Arlington, VA location.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Laws and Regulations, Hazardous Materials Management, as well as provide environmental compliance projects for a broad range of clients.   Work assignments include:
Audits (RCRA and Multimedia)
Hazardous Waste Management Plans 
Waste minimization plans
1 hour and 8 hours RCRA training
8-hour DOT training
Report preparation
Sampling
Field investigation
Community Involvement/outreach and Environmental Justice
RCRA Part B Permits
The candidate will work productively in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate growth potential, along with the desire to learn.
Typical work assignments include:
Develop plans, reports, and required documentation related to environmental audits and permits.
Prepare and give 8-hour RCRA and DOT training, and 1 hour awareness training.
Perform field work including inspections, investigations, surveys, and sampling.
Create sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and figures.
Perform work safely in accordance with an agreed upon budget and schedule.
Local travel is required.  Non-local travel will be required for audits and other projects.
