Corporate Financial Controller

Stanton House is currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join an exciting High-Growth Software Business on a 6-12-month Contract. This role is paying up to £500 - £600 per day Outside IR35 (depending on experience) and a offers a hybrid working arrangement in the Midlands (3 days per week).

Although this is an interim role, it could potentially be a permanent opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting functions within the organisation. Including management accounts and financial accounting tasks including the preparation of financial statements, reports and analysis.
Supporting external audits and internal control assessments.
Conducting balance sheet reviews and reconciliation analysis.
Conducting detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends in financial data.
Handling journal entries and ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Maintaining corporate Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets.
Applying expertise in US GAAP to ensure financial compliance and reporting accuracy.
Driving continuous improvement and standardisation.To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) coming from a practice background.
Ideally you have experience in a software company.
Proficient in financial and management accounting, internal Control frameworks and managing audits.
Possesses an inquisitive mindset, prioritising continuous improvement.
Experienced in managing high-performing teams and delivering with exceptional accuracy.
