Quantity Surveyor - Fire Protection

Role Description: As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and programs with commercial aspects. Your responsibilities will include:

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

* Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire protection projects.

* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project budgets.

Procurement and Contract Management:

* Source materials and subcontractors.

* Negotiate contracts and manage subcontractor agreements.

3.

Project Cost Control:

* Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle.

* Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend adjustments as needed.

4.

Variations and Claims:

* Assess variations and claims related to project changes.

* Work closely with stakeholders to resolve any disputes.

5.

Reporting and Documentation:

* Maintain accurate records of project costs, invoices, and payments.

* Generate regular reports for management.

Requirements:

* Experience: At least 3 years of experience in surveying, preferably with passive fire protection knowledge.

* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field.

* Skills:

* Strong analytical and numerical skills.

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

* Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, project management software).
