Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer with a global presence. They are looking for an electrically biased Instrumentation Technician / Instrument Engineer / EC&I Engineer / Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Engineer to look after their manufacturing machinery.
This role is an ongoing temporary contract, that is likely to be more long term with the potential to go permament (not guaranteed at this stage).
LOCATION - Hazlehead, near Penistone
Shift Pattern: 4 day week, Tuesday to Friday, 6.00am - 4.00pm
Salary: £32,109 including shift allowance (£28,291 + £3,818 shift allowance)
Your duties as an Instrumentation Engineer will include the maintenance, testing, inspection, and calibration of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• PPM of plant and equipment
• Fault diagnoses and repair
• DC & AC drives, motors and gearboxes
• PLC fault finding
• Pneumatic/Hydraulic repairs
• Safe isolation and safe working
• Electrical / mechanical installation
Candidate Requirements:
• Fully Apprentice trained, or timed served Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineer or Electrician / NVQ Level 3 in Engineering
• Experience in a Factory / Manufacturing environment
• Autonomous and team working
• Understanding and able to read technical engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
