An Energy Manager required on a full-time, permanent basis.

Energy Manager
Location: Birmingham & Remote working
Contract length: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 annually
An Energy Manager based in Birmingham which will include nationwide travel. You will manage a clients strategy to promote responsible use of natural resources and protection of the natural environment, primarily by reducing the use of utilities and operation of facilities.
Your new role
You will be offered a permanent role with the company.
You will be responsible for managing the energy department and managing a small team, managing the delivery of the energy budget in line with agreed targets. The efficient management of bill validation, presenting of utility recharges, budgeting and forecasting and any other utilities data reporting requested, accountability for energy consumption across 1800 sites, cost control of £50m - £60m and the accountability for the shareholder relationship cross the Group operation, Procurement and Environmental management to support and drive the property Co2 reduction targets

What you'll need to succeed
The Energy manager will need relevant technical qualifications in energy management, demonstrable experience of leading and developing a team of energy & environmental professionals and strong customer management expertise, with demonstrable experience of building relationships with key customers and stakeholders. A full UK Driving License is required.
