Category Buyer

We are currently hiring for a Category Buyer to join a world class procurement partner who deliver professional procurement services for private and public sector as they are currently expanding there procurement team.

Category Buyer - (Back Office Functions/FM/ IT Solutions)
Warrington
Up to £30,000 (dependent on experience)
Permanent
35- hour week (Monday-Friday)

As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for:

Delivering tendering and other procurement processes in line with both departmental and category targets
Manage the delivery of appropriate services such as core price list reviews/amendments, mini competitions, call-off contract terms and ongoing framework management
Offer regular input to the procurement management team
Continually review the markets and undertake competitive analysis and research innovations in their category
Implement and manage individual framework strategies to assist in the achievement of financial performance and growth
To be successful in this Category Buyer role you will have:

Procurement/tender knowledge
Public procurement experience
Confident talking to contractors and stake holders
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
