Production Operative

Randstad Engineering are excited to be recruiting for experienced production operatives to join an industry leading business based in Livingston. As a member of the Manufacturing Team, the main responsibilities are:

The Role:

Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner and to good standards of workmanship in order to deliver the required levels of customer service.
Handle all material including checking stock records, labelling and storing according to commercial requirements.
Understand and implement maintenance activities to facilitate optimum productivity.

The Shifts:

This role is based on the following 3 shift pattern for the first 12 weeks:

1st Week: 06:00 - 13:15 (till 14:30 on Fridays) (Mon - Fri)
2nd Week: 13:15 - 22:45 (till 22:15 on Thursdays, Fridays are off)
3rd Week: 22:00 - 06:00 (Begins Sunday evening, finishes Friday Morning)After these 12 weeks, the candidate will then swap to the following weekend shifts for the next 9 months:

Friday: 06:00 - 18:00
Saturday: 06:00 - 18:00
Sunday: 10:00 - 22:00
What we are looking for:

Fully trained as a operator and experience of leading a multi-staged production process.
Experience of the operation of heavy mobile plant within an industrial environment.
Able to work the shifts mentioned above
