Electrical Estimator

Currently seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a well-established M&E contractor based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable company with a substantial pipeline of work across Scotland. Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to accurately assess the scope of electrical works.
Prepare detailed and competitive estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexities.
Collaborate with the wider team to obtain accurate pricing and quotations.
Analyse and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Collaborate closely with the project management team to develop project budgets and schedules.
Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and material costs to ensure accurate pricing and competitive bids.
Participate in tender review meetings and contribute to post-tender negotiations.
Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction industry, preferably with M&E contracting experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and relevant regulations.
Demonstrated ability to price tenders for electrical works of varying values and complexities.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field are desirable.The Offer:
