OXBO are delighted to be partnering with a company that develops impressive, large scale Solar PV projects worldwide to assist them in hiring a Renewable Energy Consultant. Currently working in South America, North America, the UK and Australia, the successful candidate will be tasked with business development and landowner engagement activities across the company as well as targeting entry into new markets for solar PV projects.

Responsibilities:

* Screening various international markets that are potentially suitable for the company to develop solar and other renewable energy projects and producing market reports and entry strategies for various renewable energy technologies;

* Documenting development processes in new and existing markets / reviewing risks and opportunities for solar projects;

* Creating site plans for solar projects;

* Following up contact with identified opportunities by phone;

* Assessing the feasibility of solar projects and recommend how they are progressed;

* Periodically reporting on solar project pipeline, competition, and market developments

* In addition to day-to-day work, you will participate in various activities that will provide insight into other aspects of the energy industry.

Requirements:

* Self-motivated, persistent, hardworking, and personable.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Commercial awareness

* Strong interest in the renewable energy and clean energy sector.

* Eligibility to live and work in the UK
