Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator - freight forwarding

Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator required for a Ocean freight department within a freight forwarder. This freight forwarder has a busy ocean freight department and this role will Assist the Sea freight Manager with the pricing of sea freight on different routes from the far east and other routes. Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator, £25-27k, FCL and LCL rates. This is a fantastic opportunity for a ocean freight forwarder / ocean freight clerk to enter into the ocean pricing roles.
The role:
As a Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator we are looking for a candidate with a understanding of ocean freight and pricing of ocean freight. pricing, quotations and negotiate rates for ocean freight consignments, liaising with customers, shipping lines and overseas agents, negotiating rates, and spot quotations with high levels of customer service at all levels. You will also Keep records of FCL and LCL rates for main markets with main carriers in a share folder. This Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator is a great way to enter the Ocean Pricing Coordinator roles and will include all the standard duties of a Junior Ocean Pricing Coordinator.
Experience
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has Knowledge of LCL and FCL services essential as well as systems [e.g., CNS, Destin8 and Sequoia] (or similar). You will have Experience with import or export operations and also proficient with standard software packages, especially MSWord, Excel and Outlook.
