Exciting opportunity to join a SEND School in Cambridge!

This specialist school rated 'good' in it's last Ofsted caters for children and young people aged 7-18 years old with a variety of needs including social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), Autism (ASC), ADHD, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), anxiety, speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) and other complex needs.

The school offers great spacious facilities, with small classes in order deliver high quality teaching that is tailored to each pupil, that promotes engagement, inspires learning and encourages achievement.

They have a requirement for a Teacher to join their fantastic team for September 2024. This role is offered on a permanent contract.

Responsibilities include:

* Creating and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment for all pupils

* Planning and delivering quality lessons allocated in the curriculum, using a variety of teaching strategies and resources to promote pupils' engagement and learning

* Adapted teaching to meet each individual pupils needs

* Motivating pupils through enthusiastic, imaginative presentation

* Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and other professionals

* Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to pupils, parents and colleagues

Requirements:

* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

* Successful Primary School Teaching experience

* Have previous experience of planning and presenting a differentiated curriculum

* Ability to support students consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs

* Have a caring and nurturing approaching to working with young people
