Description
Reporting into the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager will initially lead a small team to build strong maintenance management systems and culture before growing the function.
Day to day responsibility will include:
Manage and oversee all maintenance processes within the manufacturing facility
Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely
Coordinate and supervise the work of the maintenance team
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Manage maintenance budget and expenditure
Identify and resolve any issues or disruptions to production
Provide technical leadership and training to the maintenance teamProfile
A successful Maintenance Manager should have:
A relevant qualification in engineering (ideally electrical)
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
Experience of leading and developing engineers
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Strong maintenance systems understanding
