This highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy who are at the forefront of engineering and who occupy an enviable standing in the market place are seeking to strengthen their Midlands base with this significant appointment. Having recorded the most successful year in their company`s history and now part of a larger international group they are in a very unique position which has led to this need.

Employing a diverse and energetic team of Engineers and Technicians across Structures, Infrastructure/Geo/Environmental and Transport Planning/Rail whilst providing a seamless service they are keen to ensure this role will attract the very best in talent to add to their highly passionate and well respected team.

The future continues to look extremely bright so this appointment is seen as hugely important to the business as they seek a business champion capable of steering the winning and delivering of work together with mentoring their high performing team.

For your part you will be most likely have a Structural/M&E/or Building Physics background with a huge appreciation of property/advisory and the built environment.

The role will be to provide clear and visible leadership to maximise the operational, commercial, and cultural performance of the office and, through example, set a positive office culture that promotes the group`s corporate values/policies, supports staff and challenges incompatible behaviour/practices.

Acting as the external figurehead of the office, with an established market reputation for delivery and customer service.

Be responsible for achieving agreed regional Revenue Generation targets to assist in achieving corporate objectives.

Act as a Project Sponsor on regionally strategic and/or significant projects, taking responsibility for the contractual position, and ensuring profit margins are protected.

Responsible for the development of all national & regional accounts managed by the region and instilling a strong culture of client management, cross-selling and project delivery/performance.

As an accomplished networker you will host events and raise the group`s profile through social media and other promotional activities.

Devise and implement an effective Regional Growth Strategy to successfully drive revenue generation, business development and account development to contribute to overall corporate growth.

Engage with internal & external stakeholders to progress the interests of the office and its staff.

Possessing a minimum of 10 or more years` experience across the built environment with valuable links in the Midlands region.
