Voids Specialist / Coordinator – Housing Management

You’ll be responsible for collaborating with teams across the organization to ensure that void properties are managed, repaired and let in the most efficient and effective way, minimising cost and maximising customer experience.
Job requirements

Oversee, monitor and advise all activity around void property management, from the tenant leaving to the property being let. You’ll ensure performance indicators are met and teams work together collaboratively.

Ensure measures are in place to track and drive activity at all stages of the voids process.
*
Use your expertise to provide advice to teams to ensure compliance to the relevant processes and regulations.
*
Attend relevant training and seminars to further develop yourself and teams. This includes designing and delivering wider staff training relating to process changes.
*
Ensure excellent communication and liaison with customers, colleagues and contractors through the void process.
What they are looking for:

Educated to degree level, or have similar relevant qualifications or management qualifications.
*
Have experience of supporting and advising teams on voids management.
*
Have knowledge and experience of affordable housing and the relevant best practice, legislation and regulations that apply to housing providers.
*
Have experience of giving great customer service with a genuine compassion for people so you’ll be able to deliver a friendly and approachable service that people will want to use.
*
Be highly motivated and outcome focused with the ability to communicate at all levels in the management and delivery of a high-level service to customers.
*
You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to provide quality direction, lead, and support a team to achieve targets. You’ll also need to remain calm and focused under pressure, hold great time management skills, be self-motivated and be able to lone work.

Able to drive and have use of own vehicle for work.
