This practice turns over £3.5-4 million annually, and are a 4-partner practice. They are a highly reputable firm to be apart of and can offer great opportunities to progress your career.

They are recruiting for an ambitious tax accountant in a manager/assistant manager position, working closely alongside the tax director as their number 2. The role is a 60/40 advisory to compliance split, collaborating with other teams in the practice to source tax projects.

Tax Manager Position Overview

Tax review and compliance - Review corporation and personal tax returns
Tax Advisory Services - Provide strategic planning and advisory services to clients, advise on complex tax issues, develop and implement tax efficient strategies
Client Management and Relationship Building - Acting as a primary point of contact for clients regarding tax matters, sourcing the business tax opportunities with clients
Interdepartmental collaboration- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients, and to provide integrated tax and accounting solutions
Compliance and risk management - Staying up to date on tax legislation and regulations, identify and manage tax risks

Tax Manager Position Requirements

ACCA, ACA, or CTA qualification
5 years accountancy practice and tax experience
Ambitious, skilled, intelligent individual, and an expert in tax advisory
Able to commute to Walsall
UK Citizen

Tax Manager Position Remuneration

Salary depending on experience, £40-50k
