Labourer/Port Operative
Location: South Sheilds
Rate of pay £17.50per hr
Hours: 7am – 4.30pm
Starting Tuesday 7th May, and travelling down to Lowestoft, Kent
· You will be working for three weeks in Lowestoft and will not be coming back at weekends due to the distance; You will have to be prepared to be away from home for that period.
· You will be loading heavy subsea equipment from a port production facility into shipping containers.
· It will be heavy, physical work
· When you come back up, they’ll be another week’s work in Sunderland port unloading the containers.
· This role could suit someone that is keen to get into the subsea industry and a longer-term position could be available at the Sunderland site.
