THE BUSINESS
 
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a time served Plater to join our client based in Teesside. The company in question are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in manufacturing critical subsea components. This is a fantastic time to join our client as they have just received considerable investment and are looking to strengthen their place in the market.

THE ROLE 

Be competent in cutting plate and prepping pipe including dressing of material and marking out set outs to assist with manufacturing of fabrications.
Experienced in reading and working to engineering drawings
Pipe fitting experience essential.
Work to tight tolerances and customer specification and requirements
Ability to use measuring equipment, Faro arm experience would be an advantage
Manufacture jigs and fixtures to support project and customer requirements
Be focused on right first-time production to support on time delivery to customers
Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment
Be flexible in your approach - willing to work overtime or shifts when required to suit customer requirements
Be willing to pass on your knowledge and train others  
 
THE PERSON

Time served
Pipefitting experience essential
Experience in welding would be advantageous
Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment
Faro arm experience would be an advantage
Be flexible in your approach - willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirements
