A&E Nurse

We currently have fantastic opportunities for A&E Nurses in the Blackpool area. Shifts are available between Monday- Sunday. If you are a dedicated and hardworking candidate who is available across a range of shift patterns, then this may be the perfect role for you.

Key role and responsibilities-

Receiving patients from paramedics and taking over patient care
Carry out examinations to gain information about their conditions.
Administering IV and intramuscular injections
Venflon insertion
Insertion of catheters
Suturing/Gluing and removal of sutures
Recording ECG's
Taking bloods
Blood monitoring
Communicating with distressed/anxious patients and relatives
Supporting and working with a multidisciplinary team

Minimum requirements-

Min of 6 moths A&E experience
NMC registered.
Valid DBS certificate
Willing to undertake any other training required by the trust.
Valid Right to work.
