Revit Technician

Our client is one of the UK's leading swimming pool engineering companies who are currently leading the market in the design, engineering and delivery of large scale public sector swimming pool projects across the UK market.

Fully committed to delivering their projects in line with BIM level 2 standards, they are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Revit Technician/ Design Engineer to join their team in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

The Role:

* Producing 2D Autocad drawings – schematics, pipework layouts, general arrangements, builderswork details, plantroom layouts, sections, typical details and manufacturing details.

* Producing design documents – calculation sheets, schedules, tables, technical data and support information for design projects.

* Producing 3D Revit models – fully details pool technology models either for 3D co-ordination and clash detection purposes, or for full BIM level 2 compliance (depending on client requirements).

* Producing Inventor models – where required, components may need to be modelled in detail within Inventor, for migration into a building Revit model.

* Liaising with design teams – all communication with the construction design teams, including principal contractor, architect, structural engineer, M&E designer and ride/attraction manufacturers. Will include attendance at design co-ordination meetings around the UK.

Candidate Profile

* Ideally, someone with building services, mechanical services engineering experience will be a great fit for this role. However, someone with a strong engineering skills set with the understanding of construction and engineering processes and advanced Revit and CAD skills will be a strong potential (Inventor experienced would be a huge bonus)
