Job Outline:

Owing to a period of successful growth and strong plans for continued expansion into new territories and technologies, a leading developer of semiconductor equipment is now looking for an Electrical & Electronics Engineer.

The role will involve the design/R&D, production and test of electrical and electronic assemblies for their systems.

You will work with a range of Engineers whilst covering production systems and R&D projects.

Key responsibilities will include the development and maintenance of PCB, electrical and electronics designs including schematics creation and management.

Production / assembly responsibilities will include sub-assembly build, fault-finding and repair.

Ensuring your work meets current regulatory and quality standards you will keeping records (including version/revision control) for traceability purposes, and create Standard Operating Procedures.

You will provide support for colleagues performing installations or service work in the field.

Where required you will provide input and advice to the sales and design team based on your findings and designs.

Working with various teams, across a range of activities, this role offers a good introduction to Electronics and Electrical Engineering, where you will learn about the systems, design, research and production.

Qualifications:

As the successful Electrical and Electronics Engineer, you should be qualified to at least Degree level in Electronics, Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Experience:

In addition to achieving a Degree, you should have at least 1 years’ experience in a commercial Electrical / Electronics Design role.

Through your academic studies and your industrial experience, you should have a strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.

Ideally you will be familiar with PCB design and implementation.

Preference will be given to candidates who are familiar with .NET and PLC programming languages; and have experience working with RF power components.
