ACCOUNTS MANAGER
As Accounts Manager you will play a “hands on” role and the position calls for a proactive individual who will oversee the running of the finance team and ensure that decisions are made with precision and efficiency whilst taking personal responsibility for daily / weekly duties such as.
* Bank postings and reconciliations.
* Setting up monthly payroll and liaising with Accountants
* Inter Company transactions.
* Posting of invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Prepare payment runs for all companies and posting payments.
* Sales ledger checks
* Credit control.
* Preparing and checking CIS returns
* Checking VAT returns
* Managing utilities and council tax records
* Full management accounts
* Daily/weekly management of all staff involved in finance.
This role calls for a candidate with a background in the construction industry, a keen understanding of CIS and previous experience of working with Xero.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for managing all finance personnel and be involved in the daily finance activities to ensure the accurate and efficient running of the finance functions.,
A generous annual salary is offered plus the opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing family run company. Hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm, however a certain amount of flexibility must be available if extra hours are required for any reason
