RSW are currently working with a prestigious client due to continued growth are now looking to recruit a Press Brake Operator to work within our workshop team on a variety projects.
Key Accountabilities:
* Setup, adjust and prepare press brake for operation
* Read and follow detailed engineering drawings and schematics
* Bending and shaping mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum etc to customer specific requirements
* Carrying out tool changes between jobs
* Measuring and checking dimensions
* Produce quality parts in a timely fashion
* Inspecting work for quality
* Compliance with health & safety and relevant certification
* Communicate effectively all issues affecting smooth daily operation
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* ·At least 3 years’ experience of press brake operation
* The ability to understand, interpret and work from drawings
* Able to work off your own initiative, as well as part of a team
* Attention to detail to ensure high quality output
* An efficient approach to your work, applying lean principles where possible and to ensure deadlines are met
* Understanding of accreditation and certification standards.
* Effective clear communicator
* Other tasks may be required

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 12pm.
Pay rate DOE £12.25 -£13 PER HOUR
