Do you have strong leadership experience in a supervisory role?
We have an exciting opportunity in Sittingbourne for a Workshop Supervisor to work for one of our clients. Our client is a leading manufacturer of spacecraft, defence and storage containers. In this role, you will be overseeing a team of highly skilled team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a full-time role.
Responsibilities
* Managing ongoing projects, ensuring they remain on target
* Responsible for the day to day management of a team
* Manage holidays, absences, discipline and yearly reviews
* Operate Lathe, Mill and Break Press machines
* Other duties as deemed reasonable
Skills and Experience
* Strong leadership experience, ideally working in a similar supervisory role
* A hands-on approach to work
* Ideally Lathe, Mill and Brake Press machine experience
* Ability to work on projects from design through to finished product
* The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Well organised with an eye for detail
* Strong interpersonal skills
