Role: Primary Teacher

Here at Supply Desk we are looking for an ambitious Primary teacher to teach pupils. The successful applicant will be required to lead lessons to pupils within the key stage 1 and key stage 2 curriculum. You will be expected to plan and deliver lessons that challenge the class and encourage the pupils to learn.

The role/ Responsibilities:

Proficiency in crafting and executing innovative teaching methods to captivate students and foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with teaching techniques to effectively aid students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring equity and inclusivity within the classroom.
Aptitude for building positive rapport with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to cultivate a robust sense of community and collaboration in education.
Strong commitment to nurturing students' social-emotional growth and wellness by seamlessly integrating SEL (social-emotional learning) principles into daily lessons and classroom interactions.
Dedication to upholding a positive and growth-oriented mindset, actively seeking avenues for self-assessment, feedback, and professional development to continually enhance teaching efficacy.
Willingness to actively engage in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of school culture and instructional methodologies.
Crafting coherent and well-organised lesson plans aligned with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum standards.
Ideal Candidate:

Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Prior experience of working in a Primary school, preferably in KS2
Passionate about teaching and has a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
Has a passion for teaching and challenging pupils to reach their full potential
Able to commute to Holmer Green and the surrounding areas
