Are you a qualified year 5 teacher looking for your next long term contract? 

We are working with a good rated primary school in Aylesbury who are looking for a qualified year 5 teacher. What really makes this role stand out is that this is a part time role, with full time pay because planning and marking will be involved. You will be required to work in school for 4/5days, with the opportunity of work from home 1/5 days a week, which you can dedicate to your planning and marking responsibilities. There is also flexibility around which day you work from home! 

This is a long term contract running from April 2024 until the end of summer term 2024.

The Requirements:
- Be an ECT or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in your desired specialism or key stage.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Possess the passion to have a positive impact within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
• Whole class leadership including prep, planning and marking.
• Utilize teaching assistants and other support staff to provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
• Provide excellent classroom management and behaviour management strategies.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of children’s progress.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals.
