Job Title: Temporary School Chef
Location: Enfield, London
Pay Rate: £16 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term times only, 30 hours per week
Company: SNS Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Temporary School Chef on behalf of our client, a reputable school located in Enfield, London.
Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Temporary School Chef to join our client’s school catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking nutritious meals for students, adhering to strict dietary requirements and health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook meals for students in accordance with menu requirements and dietary guidelines.
* Ensure that all food preparation and cooking areas are kept clean and sanitary at all times.
* Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
* Assist with menu planning and development.
* Manage kitchen inventory and stock levels, placing orders as necessary.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards at all times.
* Collaborate with other members of the catering team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (Essential)
* Health & Safety and Food Hygiene qualification L3 (Desirable)
* First Aid qualification (Desirable)
* Right to work in the UK
* Commitment to equality of opportunity and the safeguarding and welfare of all students
* Willingness to undertake training
* This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check
