Machine Minder

We are working with a manufacturer of specialist plastic products based on the outskirts of Keighley. They are looking to employ a Machine Minder to ensure continuous production on a rotating schedule. Week one you will be working 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday and then on week two you will be working 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday. This pattern then repeats, week one, week two, week one, etc...
Your role will be to ensure that the machines are loaded with the correct materials, that the machines are working correctly, and that the finished product is of the right quality. This is a team environment where departments rely on each other, so it is vital that you are reliable to turn up for your shifts and are able to work at a good pace.
Although the role doesn't require any specific previous experience it would be useful if you've worked on production machinery previously. You will need to be physically fit as you'll be on your feet a lot, you'll need to be a good team player, and also be able to understand your responsibilities regarding the health and safety of you and your colleagues.
