Position: Import / Export Coordinator - Sea Freight

Location: Leeds

Hours: Mon - Fri 9:am - 17:30

Salary: up to £35,000

We are currently recruiting for one of the largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies that operate from 9 locations in the UK.

We are seeking a skilled Sea Freight Import Coordinator to join their dynamic team, organising international shipments by sea (LCL and FCL) to meet their clients extensive requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding operations, with experience dealing with sea freight imports or export regulations and customs clearance procedures.

Your key responsibilities as an Import / Export Coordinator - Sea Freight:

Complete start-to-finish import or export consignments via sea freight
Create bookings from the origin
Provide freight rates, quotes and pricing solutions for customers
Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, merchant haulage and various carriers
Track and update shipment statutes in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
Complete import customs entries via CDS
Ensure compliance with import regulations and trade compliance laws
Cargowise user preferred.Benefits:
