Junior Accountant - Practice

Junior Accountant - Leeds based Accountancy Practice - £25k - £30k - excellent ongoing training and development.

Our client, a growing firm of Accountants in East Leeds are expanding their team and currently recruiting for a Junior Accountant.

Ideally you will have experience of working in Practice and looking for the next move to further your career.

Key responsibilities:-

Managing a portfolio of clients ranging from SME's and Ltd companies
Providing an excellent customer service and communicating via calls and emails
Dealing with queries
Reviewing accounts and approving them to be sent to the client
Providing basic tax planning advice
Preparing self assessment tax returns
Providing training on the online portalRequirements:-

Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of accounting principles
Excellent attention to detail
Solid IT skills
Ability to work to tight timescales
