About the Job:
As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be an integral part of a fast-paced production team. We're looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, keen attention to detail, and the ability to finish a range of products to the required standards using a range of different techniques. In the role you will:
* Prepare and hand-spray canopies and in-house accessories to quality standards
* Regularly clean equipment and spraying booths, including solvent wash and recycler operation
* Refurbish products with minor blemishes and conduct quality checks
* Safely operate sander and polisher machines; perform colour matching when needed
* Rotate between tasks such as in-house spraying and refurbishment
* Communicate equipment or supply issues to team members or leaders clearly
* Complete FTNs, DTNs, and batch cards as required
* Enter weekly productivity figures into the in-house system
* Promptly resolve quality issues like stain discrepancies or runs
* Follow instructions from the team leader and complete allocated work
* Plan daily workload logically to minimize cleaning schedules and changeovers
Working hours:

Paid for 39 hours, no matter what
Monday to Friday, flexible start/finish:
🕖 Monday to Thursday; 8:00am – 5:00pm
🕗 Friday; 7:00am – 12:00pm
Summer Perk: in order for you to enjoy the (rare) sunshine, we give the option for you to work longer days for 4 days and get an extra day off!
About You:
* Minimum of 6 months of paint spraying experience
* Proficiency in sanding and hand spraying canopies, using distinct skills for stain, paint, or lacquer
* Proficiency in sanding and hand spraying a variety of accessories, using separate skills for stain, paint, or lacquer
* Ability to mix required finishing mediums
* Familiarity with usage of solvent wash and recycler
* Knowledge of operating machinery
* Techniques for refurbishing items
* Colour matching skills
