Role Essentials:

* Reporting to the team leader

* Oversee and maintain mechanical operations within a production environment

* Ensure machinery and equipment run efficiently and safely

* Conduct regular inspections, perform maintenance, and manage repairs

* React as first line response to breakdowns, diagnose faults and carrying out repairs effectively.

* Collaborate with the production team to optimise processes and minimise downtime

* Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency

* Adhere to health and safety regulations and quality standards

Skills & Experience:

* Recognised Mechanical apprenticeship (ONC level or equivalent)

* Proven experience in a mechanical engineering role within a manufacturing or production setting

* Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery

* Proficient in fault diagnosis and problem-solving

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Commitment to health and safety best practices
