Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Logistics Service Coordinator for Dow in Terneuzen.
The main task is providing day-to-day logistics support, expertise in arranging transport and managing logistics issues. Next to that we come across situations that require exception-management skills and a problem-solving mindset. Responsibilities/Duties
- Follow up on customer requirements to ensure on-time delivery and lowest cost-to-service product transportation to the final destination
- Monitors Logistics Service Providers on performance
- Ensures timely processing the administrative flow of the inbound and outbound process
- Responsible for solving transactional failures
- Close collaboration with Logistics Service Providers, taking appropriate action in case of non-compliances and supports logistics Quality Measure resolution
- Verifies if logistics capacity versus demands can be matched (including special requests)
- Responsible for accuracy of logistics data and accurate logistics charges
- Manages non-standard orders, changes and exceptions requiring different transport arrangements
- Checks, approves and books (additional) logistics costs in system timely

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position of 40 hours per week are during regular office hours. For this role, Dow works with a hybrid model where they combine working from home with working from the office. The expectation is that you work a minimum of two days a week from the office and more often when it is required (for example, when you have trainings or meetings).
