We are currently hiring a Quantity Surveyor for a leading London based main contractor with projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be London based assigned to one or multiple projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business working on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial management of all aspects of projects.
Preparing documentation for sub-contractors to price; obtaining and reviewing quotes.
Review, analysis, negotiation and procurement of sub-contract packages.
Analysing, pricing and control of changes and variations.
Cost control reporting and risk management.
Communicating with all parties on technical and pricing matters to ensure compliance and economic benefits to the company.
Establish and enhance professional working relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
Working closely as part of a team to successfully deliver projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in a Quantity Surveying / Commercial role.
Commercial and contractual awareness.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
IT skills, proactive attitude and strong time management.
