We are recruiting for a brilliant new opportunity open up for a Team Leader with one of our 3PL logistics clients based in West Thurrock. in this role you will play a key role in providing support for the Senior Shift Leader as well as warehouse operatives, to contribute and ensure they meet operational efficiencies.
This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis with an average of 40.25 hours. If successful, you will predominantly work 18:00-06:00 4 days on 4 days off, though some flexibility may be required.
There will be a 13 week agency probation period before you move to the clients employment, but will have a 2 stage interview before starting via the agency directly with our customer.
We're looking to offer wages of up to £16.60 per hour inc attendance bonus. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday pay (inclusive of bank holidays). You'll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you'll do on a typical day:
• Ensure that training and development requirements for Warehouse Operatives are regularly carried out
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of policies and procedures
• Prioritise and delegate tasks to meet deadlines
• Monitor productivity and collate colleagues' figures
What you need to succeed at :
• Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• A committed and flexible approach to work
