Supplying high-quality products into the Construction industry and well known for excellent customer service, innovation, and sustainability, my client are on the hunt for an Accounts Administrator.

Responsibilities

Accounts administration responsibilities include reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.

• Manage obligations to suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors.
• Process bank deposits and reconcile financial statements.
• Prepare, send, and store invoices; ensure timely client payments through credit control.
• Identify and address discrepancies; report on accounts payable and receivable status.
• Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets; maintain monthly rebate records.
• Handle customer requests for Proof of Delivery (POD) and liaise with other departments and depots.
• Support purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, and reconcile HMRC records for imports.
• Prepare monthly accruals for the external accountant; maintain payroll records and meet deadlines.
• Provide holiday cover within the team; assist with month-end procedures and other administrative tasks as needed.
