Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Salary: Between £17-£18 per hour or Annual Salary of between £33,592 - £35,568 + bonus paid bi-annually
Location: Peterlee, County Durham, SR8 2RD
Full Time and Permanent – Monday to Thursday – 8.30am-6.30pm (4 days a week – 38 hours)
Our client is a family-owned well respected independent garage.
They are now actively looking for a talented and ambitious technician to join them at their state of the art independent car workshop in Peterlee.
Working with a talented team, you’ll repair, service and care for all kinds of vehicles – identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards. Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, you’ll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for all things automotive and be eager to continuously develop their technical skills, ongoing training and development will be provided.
Requirements:
* Candidates must be Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
* Previous vehicle technician experience in a busy garage is essential.
* Full and Valid driving license is essential.
If you are looking for a better work life balance then this role is for you, only working 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday), so Friday’s off and all weekend off.
