As an Accountant your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and building relationships with a portfolio of clients
* Actively looking to further support clients and acting on business development opportunities
* Preparing/reviewing annual and management accounts
* Ensuring clients are tax compliant and offering tax advice on an ad hoc basis
* The use of a range of digital tools such as Xero, Dext, Ignition, Senta, Fathom, Futrli, A2X
* Training on advisory elements (commercial funding, business growth, tax planning)
We are looking for an Accountant with the following skills and experience:
* Experience as an Accountant with an ACA, ACCA or AAT qualification (or working towards)
* Experience in an accountancy practice is preferred
* Excellent communication, interpersonal & problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient with MS Office and good working knowledge of accounting software (Xero)
* An ambitious, dedicated team player, with a love for change and new ideas!
In return, the successful Accountant will receive a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 plus the following benefits…
