Mechanical Engineer
My client a well-established engineering business in Blackburn. they work in the Building Chemical industry. The client also builds a range of machinery, including mixers and associated equipment such as storage tanks and pipework.
Over the past years our client has made investments in the company and staff allowing us to take on more business with both, existing customers and new ones allowing the company to expand. We are a forward-thinking company that provides training, encourages, and supports staff in all aspects of the business, and will continue to do so throughout their employment.
We have an opportunity for a permanent position as a Mechanical Engineer; we are seeking an experienced individual to join our client’s team if you have attention to detail and a strong work ethic we want to speak to you.

Job Requirements:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience.
* Must have a driving license.
* Good knowledge of machinery, including pumps, gearboxes and motors.
* Electrical knowledge would be an advantage.
* Confident in installing and commissioning new equipment.
* Must be able to operate power tools.
* Ability to conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, troubleshoot and repair breakdowns.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We operate from Monday to Thursday, 7.30-18.00. Friday overtime may occasionally be required from time to time.
The starting salary rate will be £28,800.00 per annum for the first three months. Once the Probation period is complete, the salary rate will be reviewed
