Children's Residential Support Worker
Job Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Blackpool
Type: Permanent
Salary: £11.75 per hour + £85 per sleep
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support and care for children and young people in a residential setting.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
* Assist with daily activities and routines, including meal times, recreational activities, and educational support.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to meet the needs of residents.
* Respond effectively to any challenging behaviour or crisis situations.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
* Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
* Full driving license.
