Due to expansion and growth, Mpeople are currently looking for skilled, highly motivated Engineers to join our engineering client based in the Oldham area. This role will work on a full time permanent basis.
* Role: Engineer
* Location: Oldham
* Salary: £44,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Working hours: 7:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Field based work may require candidates to be flexible with these hours.
Your role as a Crane Engineer will include:
* Working on the shop floor carrying out crane repairs including mechanic, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
* Rigging and derigging company cranes
* Working with mobile, tower and crawler cranes etc.
* Completing servicing and maintenance within the workshop
* Maintaining service records including details of all faults, repairs, and service dates etc.
* Working away from home and extended working hours where rigging/derigging is needed
* Order parts from suppliers, chasing where necessary
As a Crane Engineer, you will need the following:
* Previous experience with heavy plant machinery/cranes is a must
* Ability to work on, repair and maintain engines and hydraulic systems etc.
* Knowledge of the assembly/disassembly of machinery and plant equipment

Candidates with previous experience working plant machinery or equipment, or who have worked within a Crane Engineering position previously, will be considered for this role.
