Nursery Manager**
**Hertford, Hertfordshire**
**Salary up to £32k, 30 - 35 hrs per week**
Our Client a nursery based in the Hertford area is looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to apply their knowledge to lead the nursery and enable the children the best start in life. This role will be to work between 30 - 35 hrs per week.
Nursery Manager responsibilities include:
• To take responsibility for collating information on each individual child within the Key worker group through observations, monitoring, assessing and recording.
• Reading and reviewing the Curriculum Guide and the Staff handbook.
• Establishing learning objectives that are consistent with the Centre’s philosophy.
• Planning and executing a program that reflects the centre’s philosophy and program Including play, learning, the arts and nurturing as primary components in a curriculum.
• Preparing a written unit plan or project plan for review by the director.
• Preparing projects and activities that reinforce themes and extended learning.
• Working cooperatively with an assistant in developing and implementing a program.
