Job Title: Electronic Repair Technician
Salary: £32,000- £38,000 per annum dependent upon experience
Location: Cheltenham
Our client is looking for an Electronic Repair Technician (various experience levels will be considered) to join their team just outside of Cheltenham. The Electronic Repair Technician will join the team to support their continued success and ambitious growth plans. This is a permanent position working Monday- Friday with flexible start/ finish times, working a 37 hour week. Please note that the post holder would be expected on site full time, there is no hybrid working available with this role.
Main Responsibilities:
* The Electronic Repair Technicians work in the MRO Cell which will receive faulty customer units to include Fuel Computers, Fuel Probes and Integrated Refuel Panels.
* The Electronic Repair Technicians use various inspection and diagnostic fault finding techniques (including the use of multimeters) to identify the issue to enable the business to quote the repair cost to the customer, personally completing the required repair once approved by the customer.

We currently have a need for colleagues to travel to European destinations. This will be offered dependant on skills and experience.

About You:
* To be successful in the role you will need demonstrable experience of inspecting electronic components and fault finding at both modular and component level, in addition to repair of electronic/ electrical components.
* There are no pre-requisite qualifications required to join the business as an Electronic Repair Technician; if you do not possess qualifications and would like to study for a HNC, this is something that the business can offer to you!
* You will need to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of electronic/ electrical theory and principles. You’ll also need to be comfortable reading circuit diagrams, engineering drawings and work instructions.
