EHS Officer
Telford
Monday to Thursday (Apply online only) / Friday (Apply online only)
Circa £37500 plus excellent benefits

Job role / duties
•Based on your investigations, identify areas for energy saving across the premises and implement
•Devise and update the company's EHS management system in line with ISO 14001.
•Ensure the policies and procedures comply EHS legislation
•Provide support and guidance to SMT, line managers and operators as well as any visitors to the site
•Ensure any training needed is organised and documented
•Investigate any accidents or incidents and record /report as required
•Conduct risk assessments across all areas of the business and report
•Produce reports for SMT on system & process auditing
•Take responsibility for safety notices and clear PPE instructions as well as First Aid supplies
•Following site waste production assessment, ensure suitable containment
•Design & implement waste reduction scheme
•Through close collaboration with colleagues, ensure continuous improvement of EHS procedures and reporting processes.
•Use Occupational Health referral recommendations to work with HR in the support of employees
•Ensure the implementation of robust Health & Safety protocols in line with ISO45001
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Be currently working in EHS in a manufacturing/production environment and be capable of implementing, auditing and maintaining a QMS ISO 14001 system
•Possess an IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
•Be an exceptional written & verbal communicator
•Have experience of a multi-cultural working environment
•Be an accomplished report writer and database manager
•Be able to work to deadline in a fast-paced environment
