circa £29000 per annum (37 hr week)
Monday - Friday
8am - 4pm
We currently require x2 Joiners to help Construction Services with the delivery of various Joinery works across our Major Adaptations & Programmed Replacements Projects across Barnsley.
You would be working as part of a wider engineering team delivering essential repairs/replacements to our social housing properties or completing Major adaptation works for existing or new tenants.
We require individuals who are confident in carrying out the following aspects of joinery works to a high standard with a keen eye for detail :-
Removal & Renewal of Kitchens (standard or adapted)
Removal & Renewal of Bathrooms, Shower Rooms & Wet Rooms as part of a 2 man team with a plumber
Internal Second fix joinery
Internal first fix joinery
Fascia, Soffits and gutter work,
Garage door installations including frames.
Joinery repairs - including but not limited to floor boarding, door ease/renew, kitchen unit repairs,
The below elements would also be advantageous but not essential for the role :-
Confident in basic plumbing or have some experience in plumbing,
Be willing to assist with helping other trades as and when required,A full induction will be given prior to starting on site, with a weekly work schedule being issued when ever possible,
A works vehicle will be provided for successful candidates, how ever you may be required to make your own way to the depot initially.
