Do you love wine? We do! Gary's Wine & Marketplace, owned and operated locally, is one of the largest brick-and-mortar and internet wine retailers in the tri-state area. Our stores offer one of the most extensive, competitively priced fine wine and cheese selections. We are well-known for our excellent, personable customer service and our knowledgeable wine staff.
We are looking for seasonal help to assist with the Delivery Driver role for Thursdays through Sundays. In this position, you will drive our store van delivering orders to our clients. When deliveries are slower, you will help stock shelves with inventory and perform the duties of a stock associate.
Major Areas of Responsibilities:
Match all deliveries against the correct paperwork
Ensure that items to be delivered are securely transported
Keep delivery vehicles organized and clean
Perform deliveries promptly
Maintain a secure vehicle
Ensure that the vehicle is operated in compliance with all applicable traffic and road regulations (including no cell phone usage while driving)
Perform general maintenance as needed
Make delivers on occasion as required
Requirements
Strong sense of customer service
Must be able to drive for long periods of time
Good verbal communication skills
Candidates must be over 18 years of age, be available to work nights and weekends.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Valid NJ drivers license required (CDL not necessary). Must have a CLEAN driving record.
