LOCATION: West Memphis, AR
PAY RATE: $115,000$125,000
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to join our team and support our employees and managers in a dynamic 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for implementing HR policies and procedures, leading the employee relations team, and fostering a positive work environment through strategic recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures tailored to a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
* Lead employee relations efforts for the manufacturing team, including counseling and conflict resolution.
* Participate in management meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to address HR-related issues.
* Evaluate departmental reports, decisions, and results to identify areas for improvement and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in business, Human Resource Management, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* PHR certification is preferred.
* Experience in Automotive and Manufacturing is a plus
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including employee relations, diversity, performance management, training and development, and federal and state employment laws.
* Experience in the automotive and manufacturing industry is a plus.
* Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate HR initiatives and policies.
* Strong client management and business literacy skills.
* Proficiency in conflict management, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
* Understanding of the diversity and unique challenges of a multicultural workplace.
