Job Description
Here's what you need to know:
The statewide high school registrar position oversees high school specific academic operations that include: student information management, scheduling, testing/program enrollment, progress to graduation and athletic compliance. The statewide high school registrar dotted-line manages and oversees the workflow of the ADSO at each KIPP high school in addition to working closely with the Data Team, HS T&L team, and HS MDSO. 
Here's what you'll be doing:
Outcomes
Annual HS data submissions to the state are accurate
100% of 12th grade students have schedules that allow them to graduate in June by the end of Q1
All high schools have a complete master schedule by end of school for the following year that meets the High School Strategy and vision of the school leader
90% unverified transfers who are not confirmed drop-outs are verified as transferred 
100% of students transferring in to our high schools are provided an accurate KIPP transcript by end-of-quarter 1
All Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment students are fully registered by the deadline set by the external partner
Ensure that all graduating seniors are awarded the correct diploma
Ensure that all competing athletes are eligible in accordance with state guidelines
Student Information Management
Ensure high schools maintain the required information in student files
Oversee annual process for verifying unverified transfer student
Oversee transcript entry for students transferring in
Maintain the system for cataloging alumni transcripts (Parchment)
Maintain infrastructure for tracking high school specific data (ACT, SAT, Community Service, etc)
Ensure that all HS student data information (i.e. attendance, course enrollment, Y1 grades) are accurate prior to state submission
Scheduling
Key point person implementing scheduling of state graduation requirements and required curriculum changes
Oversee the high school scheduling process starting with the annual solidification of the course catalog at each school
Oversee the system for master schedule build (Process, timeline)
Maintain the PSadmin infrastructure needed for HS school schedule building
Support schools to ensure schedule build and creation for the following school year
Train new school based staff on PS scheduler
High School Specific Testing/Programming
Oversee the Advanced Placement enrollment and administration at high schools
Oversee Dual Enrollment registration for reporting purposes
Provides support and coaching for AP and Dual Enrollment coordinators
Graduation Progress
Maintain graduation progress tracking system in PowerSchool
Provides support and consultations to assist in enrolling students who are off track for on-time graduation in alternate classes
Ensure students transferring from a KIPP high school to another high school are verified
Ensure transfer students have schedules that allow them to graduate with state diploma
Maintain the grad pathway (assessments) submission data required by state
Oversee state graduation portfolio process
Ensure that graduation data being submitted to the state is accurate
Manage the Graduation Rate reconciliation process through NJSMART (transfer out-unverified process)
Athletic Compliance
Maintain Athletic rosters in PS for reporting purposes
Maintain all course catalog information in the NCAA portal for each school
Oversee the NCAA eligibility process
Drive seasonal reports of ineligible students based on state GPA guidelines and ensuring that Athletic Directors are enforcing the list
GPA
Maintain gradebook auditing system
Coaches gradebook health monitors on auditing practices and student-facing GPA incentive programs
Progress monitors GPA and gradebook health and creates corresponding action plans as needed
State Testing Coordinator
NJ district state test coordinator and interacts directly with the state for all NJ based testing
Coordinates all state mandated testing logistics between school test coordinators, tech team, compliance team, special education, and data team
Main district point of contact during any administration of state testing problem solving any urgent situation that may arise during testing
Lead the coordination of all assessment submissions, such as NJSMART test administration rosters and accommodations
Title I
Ensure that academically the region has met Title I requirements
Gather academic data needed for Title I reports
