Join a 50-person R&D company in North Haven, CT focused on the development of new technologies for applications in the Clean Energy space
Leverage your mechanical / assembly skills to advance projects related to Solid Oxide Fuel Cell and combustion research
Work with project engineers to produce prototypes and test-rigs to support and validate research programs
Keep detailed data records from tests using a variety of analytical instruments.
Handle delicate mechanical assemblies, suggesting improvements to assembly procedures
Requirements
Associates or formal Technical Training in manufacturing or fine mechanical assemblie
Familiarity with multiple analytical testing devices, ability to keep detailed records
Experience in assembling delicate / fine mechanical devices – experience working on prototype stage or similar without details instructions ideal.
Experience in aviation, fuel cell, gas turbine, or industrial environments is preferred
Ability to think critically and engage with the broader company in discussing projects
Comfort working in both a team environment as well as on individually assigned projects
