Job Description
The PW position is an entry level position in the packaging plant. Responsibilities include supplying packaging materials to the production lines and general housekeeping.
Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to position.
Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
This position rotates weekly between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
Forklift operations
Supplying packaging materials to the production lines—completion of lot tracking paperwork, inventory tracking/counting, complaint forms for damaged/out of spec materials, inspection of materials
Operation of box erector, bag inserter and placing jugs on the line—includes supplying equipment with materials, troubleshooting and making basic mechanical adjustments to equipment
Operation of cube line fillers, scales and the bag tucker
Maintain and perform housekeeping responsibilities in assigned areas
